Book Sneeze- G-d's Beloved Daughters

Image
I got a copy of this book just as school ended. My 7 yr old climbed on to my bed while I was getting ready for devotions. We read the day's reading together. I had to explain some of it to a 7 year old, but this makes a nice devotional for daughters of all ages. I have not seen Kenneth Hagin quoted since the 1980's and he pops up alot. So that makes me chuckle. With numerous deaths and s many struggles lately, this book as been a good reminder to "look up". It offered encouragement just when I needed it.

This is an interesting book to review. essentially it is a dissected Bible. (reminds me a bit of Thomas Jefferson's) Although it lauds the KJV as the only authorized, it also cites NIV. The real reason for this is probably based on copyrights rather than convictions. 90% of the text is KJV. "The NIV text may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic or audio), up to and inclusive of five hundred (500) verses without express written permission of the publisher, providing the verses do not amount to a complete book of the Bible nor do the verses quoted account for twenty-five percent (25%) or more of the total text of the work in which they are quoted. When the NIV is quoted in works that exercise the above fair use clause, notice of copyright must appear on the title or copyright page or opening screen of the work (whichever is appropriate) ..." Being that this book is gleaned from 2 sources: The Holy Bible KJV and All the prayers of the Bible by Herman L
